Our experts simulate the challenges of the supply chain in order to test whether your packaging is durable enough to protect the products within.

Amazon APASS Network - Ecommerce Distribution Testing

What is the APASS network?

The APASS network was designed by Amazon to help support vendors, sellers and manufacturers to obtain certification of their products as Frustration Free Packaging (FFP), Ships-In-Own-Container (SIOC) or Prep-Free Packaging (PFP). Smithers Pira provides package testing in compliance with Amazon’s certification test methods.

Items will have to be:

  • Ready to ship with no need for additional packaging (SIOC and FFP)
  • Protected against damage (SIOC and FFP)
  • The correct size (SIOC and FFP)
  • Easy to open (FFP only)
  • Recyclable (FFP only)

How can we help?

Smithers Pira provides APASS services directly to vendors, sellers or manufacturers related to package testing in compliance with Amazon’s certification test methods.
