Overview

P&P (Plastics & Paper in Contact with Foodstuffs) provides a forum for like-minded professionals looking to address topical concerns in the food contact industry and develop their knowledge on how best to comply with the latest regulations for plastic and paper packaging in contact with foodstuffs.

The conference, which takes place from 3 – 6 December 2018 in Vienna, Austria, will focus on the latest legislation, compliance case studies and pertinent issues of food packaging as well as information on inks, coatings and adhesives. Over 200 thought-leaders and legislators from across the food contact supply chain will gather to explore and exchange information regarding global food contact developments and initiatives, and forecast the future industry landscape.

The ARCOTEL Wimberger is also located close to the vibrant culture and art district, the MuseumsQuartier Vienna and Spittelberg, with the most rustic pub scene in Vienna.

All delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and guests are responsible for booking their own travel and accommodation.

**It has come to our attention that a number of accommodation service providers have contacted companies supporting Plastics & Paper in Contact with Foodstuffs 2018 regarding hotel reservations. When delegates say they have already booked they are told that they need to finalise their booking by completing a form with credit card details. This generates a new booking and a 25% deposit is immediately charged to the card - this is non-refundable and any cancellation incurs a heavy penalty. These companies DO NOT represent Smithers and should NOT be given any credit card information.
