Instrument Design and Fabrication

For many years Smithers Pira has been producing one off testing fixtures, instruments and machinery for use in house. We have recently begun utilising our extensive experience in physical testing Smithers Pira and are now pleased to offer a dedicated instrument design and fabrication service.

When commercial equipment is not available or doesn't fulfil necessary requirements, a bespoke solution is required.

Our on site workshop and skilled software and design engineers give us the unique ability to promptly manufacture a complete solution, tailor made to our customer's specification.

We deliver a flexible, cost effective and efficient service which is appropriate to the customer's requirements.

We are happy to accept jobs ranging from simple test fixtures defined within a testing standard to complex computer controlled multi-axis electro-mechanical systems.
