CBS1 and CBS2 Security Paper Testing


CBS1 is the clearing bank specification relating to paper used for printing cheques and debit vouchers. The CBS1 specification is described in the Cheque and Credit Clearing Comapny (C&CCC, formerly APACS) 3.1 standard.

Smithers Pira tests the physical characteristics of CBS1 and CBS2 papers and issue a certificate of conformity for papers that meet the test criteria.
