Product Test Procedures and Standards
Test methods form the basis of the laboratory evaluation, allowing repeatable, controllable and meaningful assessment of the physical performance of a product or component. Smithers Pira's knowledge covers the range of internationally recognized shock testing, vibration testing and climatic testing methods and standards, and defence standards including Def-Stan 00-35 and MIL-STD 810F.
Smithers Pira also has extensive knowlegde of package testing standards and procedures covering products during distribution, storage and handling. See our Package Test Procedures and Standards page for further details.
Smithers Pira's laboratories are ISTA certified and Smithers Pira's UK laboratory is certified to ISO 17025.
