Mike Long
Principal Engineer
Mike is one of Sunnyvale's experts in transport packaging and testing. During his 10 years of experience, he has worked extensively with ultra-high value semiconductor and inspection equipment manufacturers to identify and mitigate product performance and damage issues as a result of transportation. As an expert in transportation testing and simulation protocols, Mike has extensive knowledge of both ASTM and ISTA standards.
Mike is responsible for the technical aspects of laboratory activities. His areas of interest and on-going research include dynamic instrumentation and data acquisition, field data analysis, and the application of proven test methods to emerging technologies.
Mike is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he received a BS in Industrial Technology and a minor in Packaging.
