Michael Chamberlain has over 20 years experience in R&D in plastics and paper industries, and a further 15 years experience in printing technical services. He is expert in the examination of documents, particularly optically diffractive devices. Mike developed the test methods and certification scheme for UK laser cheque security and has served on the APACS working party for the development of cheque standards in the UK. Mike is responsible for Smithers Pira consultancy in the field of Document Security and Brand Protection and maintains an active interest in security technologies for personal ID, document authentication and secure packaging.
